Female Vocalists To Fall In Love With - Part 1

I have been buying CDs lately. Most of female vocalists' in fact. Actually, I thought that I like to listen to male vocals better because there's not much female singers in the market but boy I was wrong. So good that it can melt my heart. Let me introduce to my loved ones:

1. 梁文音 - a.k.a Rachel

Her angelic sweety pie looks seems more than enough to cover even the slightest flaws in her, but this babe knows how to carry a tune, and does it astonishingly well! Her voice is very clean and high pitched, feels like 张清芳。

Got to know about her when I log on to the 超级星光大道 website, and saw a video clip of her singing. The vocals, and her smile are so mesmerizing.

I did a search online and found out that she has won the 2nd position at the 超级星光大道 2 competition. What a feat to achieve!

2. Joanna Wang

Her first CD that I have listened to - Start From Here has got a hit single, Start From Here that I loved very much and makes me melt, melt, melt.

Her sexy, and laid back vocals make her sound like the Norah Jones of Asia as what all say.

I kinda like only some of the songs along with the cover "I Love You" as sung by David Tao. But with this kind of lazy voice, it will make you very sian after hearing the whole album.



3. 林凡-Freya Lin

Talk about 林凡 and people will remember her for her must-sing-song-in-ktv : 一个人生活, surprised that she sings pretty well in English too.

I bought her English album last week and found out that her songs are very pleasing to the ears. Her voice is distinctively clear, and sweet. Like a girl next door. But too bad she doesn't look gorgeous enough, that's why she is still not popular.

It's all classic covers like time after time, close to you, kiss me, you light up my life.


For romantic die-hards, this is the album that you need to listen to.



4. 梁静如 - Fish Leong

This Malaysian singer is one of my top favourite and never fails to make me fall in love with her everytime she sings. Her voice is so captivating that it seems that she's a goddess of music.
