Counting down for christmas and new year doesn't seem to excite me anymore. I hate to jostle and mix around with sweaty-bodied, loud-mouthed, merry making and irritating crowds. Once the party is over, its almost mission impossible to leave the place without waiting endlessly for a cab and being caught in a traffic jam. Get me on a holiday to a nice beach with a few friends to drink to our hearts content please. Speaking of nice beaches, i read the place where they featured the serene and beautiful island in taiwan that was made famous by Cape no. 7. Ah ga's house was featured,so was the granny's who recieved the 7 letters sent by her heartbroken jap lover finally. It was told that in real life, the granny actress really once had a love story with a jap teacher before, but no details avail. The sandy white beach that van and his band had their concert was featured too. How nice it is to listen to live performances by a nice beach. Its a 1 and half hr journey from kaoshiung to the Cape no. 7 island. I wonder if any1 is interested. Nevertheless, taiwan will still be an eye-opening, full of suprises and self-fufilling trip for me. I would rather count down to taiwan. Counting down: 21 days.
